These two went from a Manly Wade Wellman tribute to a story about vampire-fighting El Santo-like luchador brothers without missing a beat. And you are right, this is a truly memorable and strangely affecting moment in a story that probably anybody else would have steered in a bright and probably campy direction. Arriba!

Glad there are fans like me out there that get it and appreciate these stories!

You definitely should! Look up the reading order first. I was a little confused because I thought this series was a standalone when it is actually tied in to every other Fire and Stone series.
