Just BEAUTIFUL Jim! Not sure what else to say other than this is the pinnacle of comic art.

Love the way Toth illustrated the striped pants too Steven. Helps to show the motion and angles of the legs, as well as emphasising the tear in the pant leg much better than simply using colors would...... There's a lot to see here, but Toth is better than anyone else in not making things too busy, and allowing certain aspects on the page to "pop". Glad you enjoy the art!

I can't believe I haven't commented on this cover Chris. It's an absolutely stunning piece of comic book history! Kurtzman's ability to draw in his unique "cartoony" style, all while being able to portray the most serious of subjects, was an incredibly difficult accomplishment that he mastered. Thanks for sharing!

Tremendous cover Mike! These Archie covers from the 50's-60's are deceptively simple. But to be able to pull off the expressions and textures in just a few smooth lines took incredible talent. Love it!
