Description

In a recent conversation I had with Bill Galvan, the topic touched on the habit of dressing up Archie & the gang as different characters from other comics. I told him that I thought something that should come natural (but I've never seen) was to place Archie, Betty, Veronica, Ethel & Jughead in Dogpatch on Sadie Hawkins Day. Bill liked the idea so much that he went to the drawing board immediately. This is the result: Archie is dressed like Abner himself, Betty is Daisy Mae, Veronica is (a somewhat cleaner) Moonbeam McSwine and Ethel & the poor Jughead have replaced their usual wardrobe with something more appropriate for the occasion. Very nice indeed!
