Description

I guess the first place that I saw the work of Brendon and Brian Fraim was in The Waiting Place, written by Sean McKeever. The have a nice clean line style that seems suited for any genre, really. They have some great commissions on their site and I had been wanting one from them for a while, but it took me some time to figure out what exactly to have them draw. They did an awesome job on this piece, especially considering how many characters I wanted. Big thanks again to them for this.

In this piece we have Hela, Parademons, Karnilla, Jaffar, Slig, Steppenwolf, Surtur, Stompa, Mantis, Mad Harriet, The Enchantress, Devilance, Kalibak, Granny Goodness, Bernadeth, Loki, Darkseid, Desaad, The Executioner, The Destroyer, Kanto, Ulik, Malekith, Brimstone, and Lashina.

I think one day I�ll get a companion piece to this to see who the villains are charging at. It will probably be a large group of Asgardian and Fourth World heroes. But it might be Volstagg running away so that he does not defeat them all by himself, thus denying his companions the glory of such an epic battle.

If you like this piece then please do go buy some books featuring Brendon and Brian's work in either physical or digital format and/or go commission them yourself.

Very nice. Looks like a promo for a Saturday Morning Cartoon I would have watched. Really nice execution of an ambitious piece.

A great idea for a piece, and beautifully executed-- how about a companion piece featuring Thor and the Asgardian heroes, and The New Gods, ready for combat with these villains?
