DescriptionSerialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1976/77. I don't know what issue this page comes from (or what's happening on it!). Similar to Neo-Human Casshan, introduced a few years earlier, this character died and was re-animated with Cyborg technology. In the 70's in the US we started getting cooler-sounding hero names, like "Storm" instead of "Weather Girl" or something, but I can't think of any US hero names that kick as hard as "God's Arm." Or correct translation might be "God Arm." Either way, pretty bad-ass.Social/Sharing |

Pretty cool looking page. Kuwata-san did a lot of work and it is all really great!

Reading from right to left, he's summoned by God and rising from the ocean depths back onto a boat. That panel of exhaustion is very moving as soon enough he gets called into action.
