Description

Claire Wendling came to the US from France in April for the Big Wow Comicfest which was her first time back in the US since she worked at Warner Bros in 1996. During her stay she had a signing at Stuart Ng Books as well as some other appearances. Before she left for France she left a number of Remarqued copies of her book "Iguana Bay 2.0" for Stuart Ng Books to sell for her.

Stuart Ng Books had previously sold some posters that were Remarqued by Claire in their store so they decided to give their online buyers first shot at the Remarqued books. They were going to list them at 12:01 am PST on June 20th which ended up being 3:01 am for me. Luckily it was a weekend so it didn't matter. I waited patiently for what seemed like an eternity for them to list the books. The books were listed on their site all day so we already knew what Remarques were going to be available. There were 3 that I had been eyeing so when they were listed I went after the one I wanted the most and hoped for the best. Luckily for me I was able to get it and was checked out within a minute of them being posted.

The book arrived today and the remarque is absolutely gorgeous. When I saw this piece I immediately fell in love and knew that this piece had to be mine if possible. I figured there would be a lot competition for this remarque but luckily for me I was able to snag it. The anatomy of the piece is absolutely breathtaking. I adore the pose and the pensive look on her face. Claire really is a master of the human form and this piece definitely shows it. I am ecstatic that I was able to add this beauty to my collection.
