DescriptionAnother macabre 3 gag page by Sergio Aragones from 1974. Since this came directly from him, there is never before seen art on the back of this page as Sergio draws in a super-hero style.Social/Sharing |

His hand lettering of the title is so good! A classic page from a true master of the artform! You scored with these pages!

No one gets more mileage out of a single comic panel than Sergio. Great page!

Great stuff that probably would be hard to publish these days.

So much fun! Arangones is a magician. Thanks for posting the reverse as well! Very intriguing superhero sketches unlike anything of his I've seen before

Brilliant page. I remember it well. Every page he did was gold, and this is a real beauty. (But why are Aragones Plop pages impossible to find?)

I would guess that a lot of these went overseas through the years. Plop! especially since the humor often translated without much dialogue. Those guys tend to buy for keeps!

No. The header is a stat. That would have been worthy of it's own post.

Wowwee...gorgeous! Maybe Matt Groening and co. read this comic before creating Futurama, and that last panel is where they got the idea for keeping people's heads alive in those bell-jars in the future.
