Description

A sensational fight scene in the Bronze Age Marvel manner by the inimitable George Tuska, who in my mind will always be *the* Iron Man artist. Tuska's Golden Avenger was always the most human -- Tuska always drew Shellhead's faceplate as though it mirrored the expression of the man inside. Not strictly realistic, perhaps, but it conveyed an emotional dimension to the character that other artists rarely captured.

This sketch reflects the classic Stark armor from the glory days, and is reminiscent of the memorable Shellhead/Greenskin brawl in Invincible Iron Man #9. With a Tuska Iron Man in it, my collection could now die happy!
