DescriptionCommissioned piece of Batman and Batgirl or Batguy and Batlady as Rafael likes to call it.Pen and ink on Dark Horse art board 11 1/2" X 17 1/2" The last of Rafael's ten commissions and over two years in the making. I asked for a scary Batman and sexy Batgirl and got what I wanted by the modern comic master. I do think it was worth the wait! Many thanks to Rafael and to Ivan especially who put up with my constant checking in with him. Ivan is the ultimate professional and a pleasure to work with. Social/Sharing |

I have to believe that Rafael and Ivan learned a lot from this experience and that commission opportunities won't come around often. Congrats to you for sticking with this and getting such a cool piece as your reward!

I don't think they thought he would get all the jobs he ended up getting, but they just couldn't be passed up. I never thought about backing out, but waiting proved to be difficult. Ivan was great throughout and the outcome was worth it. Also thanks to Troy, Jason and Matthew for your comments! I can't wait to have it in hand and eventually up on the wall in the spot I have had saved.
