Always cool to see how artists from Eastern cultures would interpret the premise that is so Western.  It would surely incorporate and reflect their own environment and their outlook of the world. 

Makes you appreciate the many species that are still to be discovered in the ocean depths.  The paint brushwork is not only colorful, but has a great fluidity in each stroke to glide along the currents. 

Haunting!  I like the concept of a sheep as the devil.  I've imagined Lucifer or demons as ox-eyed sheep/goats and used that in drawings before.  Something sinister to me about having eyes on the side of the head.  Love that dark forest, but I'm puzzled by the inky hands

Monster High is very popular whenever there are Mattel exclusives at comic con.  This very slick painting with the airbrush polish enhances everything that made the dolls so unique using the cute goth look.  The big eyeballs are glamoring the audience.

Jorge Mascarenhas taps into the theatrical style of bone-chilling atmopshere of Robert Eggers movies.  The Roanoke folklore of haunted horror comes to mind with a color palette that wickedly shrouds and disguises the presence of evil.

I like the second image better, where the textures are more visible.  I think that's so important when looking at oils and/or acrylics.

Can't help but wonder if this was at all inspired by Gaga's casting in the second film.  Love the vulnerability here and the colors are so striking.

The jacket and pink hair may be screaming for attention, but it's the subtlety of her facial features that steal the show.  Love how her left eye barely peeks out from below those long pink bangs.  As we are left to wonder whether that downward gaze is a look of disinterest, distraction, or shyness.  And don't even get me started on the freckles.

You never fail to come up with new artists that I've never seen before Wonderful work and style. I'll agree with Marcus's comments....another winner!!

I had wondered how long it was going to take you to Have Fred do Harley for you. To say he did a fantastic job is an understatement. Outstanding image of her that only Fred can create. Huge congrats on the addition.

Almost looks like it's on a wood panel. Happy Halloween...or else. :) Woderful style.

It's a great view of the mass destruction Godzilla causes!  They are rereleasing Minus One for one week starting tomorrow!     

Phenomenal piece!  I love how textured the canvas is.  And the detail is astounding.  I get a real "east meets west" vibe from this that I don't get as much from some of his other illustrations.  If I squint my eyes and allow the image to blur, she almost takes the form of a Geisha with that elaborate headpiece and face makeup.  Even though I'm a huge fan of the original Harley design and usually dismiss all other versions, I don't think I could love this painting any more than I do.  On the one hand, it really makes me think about getting one for myself.  At the same time, seeing this kind of ruins me for that artist.  Knowing me, anything I might end up with will inevitably be compared to this piece and in my mind never stack up.  Congratulations on this stunner.

In a style popularized by A Nigthmare Before Christmas, simple shapes and lines are are built upon to deliver a surreal experience of fear that come out of the minds of children and what they worry about while their minds work through them in sleep.

It's amazing what some artists can do with a pencil only.  Great piece!!!

Strikes a nerve with how creepy it looks like a old b&w photo staged to show kids with taxidermy!  Beautiful control of pencils in the format that induces feelings that are uncomfortable by the contrasts.

Great color palette that brings a different type of fantasy feel than the rest of 2000AD while still conforming to the spirit and tradition of the title to feature great talents working at their best.  Bliss' conceptual artistry is put on display here!
