Description

I ran across this interesting piece by John Buscema at the Chicago Comicon in 1980 and purchased it from a dealer. I am not sure when it was done, whether it a specific character or if it has been published. So if any of you out there have some knowledge, please pass it on to me. Thanks.

Update: 2/9/2011
Michael Maikowsky, who has a very nice CAF tribute section for John Buscema, has answered down in the comments where, when and published "Savage Sword of Conan #15, accompanying an interview with Big John, that originally appeared in the "Comic Book Workshop Showcase"". Thanks Michael.

Now the question is who might she be?

Great combo! Love the art. No Idea what it was used for. Let me know if you ever decide to part with it.

This is so beautiful. Very detailed and I love her face. Now, I'm not an expert but a part of me wants to say that this 'might' be Valeria.

Okay.. this was on my mind all night. lol I think I'm waaaay off base with the name. Actually, after doing some research, and not owning the book, all I could come up with was 'Slave Girl Princess'.

nice.   It's interesting to see Bucema's signature this way (vs his "autograph" style of signing things).   Was he like Steranko, rolling out a couple different variants of his signature?

I think it's Dan who wrote both names.
