DescriptionI picked this up at the N.J. comicartshow on 8/27/23. it is a beautiful half splash of the man of steel flying through the streets of Metropolis. the only problem was that the dealer didn't know who drew it or what comic it came from. he went around and asked the other dealers to no avail. looking at the face it looks like a Dan Jurgens 90's work. if anyone has a clue, please drop me a line. the page is absolutely beautiful with those tight pencils. Just a great image of Superman flying, but all the background work is what really grabbed my attention. just the details it the buildings to the faces on the people walking on the street. it really is stunning.Social/Sharing |

Nice Supes image. Reminds me of Kerry Gammill more than Jurgens.
Whatever the case, a classic Supes flying through Metropolis image!

Thanks mark. Yes it's a mystery. But the art is fantastic. And that's the bottom line.

It has that mullet era Superman look. That radical shift in background perspective is giving me vertigo. That's why I would never make it with flying powers and have to stick to commenting.
