Description

Art Adams seems to fall into one of those "rare" artist catergories like Paul Smith and Budd Root that only get better and better with time! I have always wanted an Art Adams sketch with these two characters. I missed the year he did free sketches all day at Heroes. I had my eye on this one for a couple of years at Albert Moy's website, so after parting with two pieces, I scored this beautiful splash title page from Dark Horse Presents #100, August, 1995. Hats off to my friend, Anthony F. for making this all possible. Never thought I'd have any art by A. Adams, but a "Splash Title" page still leaves me weak in the knees ; )

That's really something. Looking at this page I think there is some argument to consider early Monkeyman stories Adams' finest hour from a strictly technical POV. Must be stunning to see in person! Congrats!
