Description

Early Bob Montana page from Pep #32, October 1942. Archie debuted in Pep #22 in December 1941 so this is still in the first year of Montana's work that launched a series that became and industry. Montana would only continue drawing the comic until 1946 when he moved over to the Newspaper syndicated Archie strip and only returned for the rare one pager. I've been getting more and more into Archie comics and the artists over the past few years and very happy to have gotten this one.
