Archie Artwork

Who doesn't love Archie! Easily the longest and most successful comic ever. Although you may not have read it in years, I am pretty sure you have in the past. While most kids today can name dozens of DC and Marvel characters, chances are they have never seen a comic with the characters in it. Those same kids have seen Archie comics and have read at least a few. Archie is everywhere. Identifying the various artists who have worked on Archie over the years isn't the easiest thing to do. Although there are distinctive styles, many features overlap sylistically and for me attribution is still difficult on some of the pieces. If you can help with identifying or reattributing any pieces in my gallery, please let me know. I would appreciate the help. Dan Parent is one of the first comic artists I met on line collecting. Back around 1999 he would sell artwork on ebay and I bought a fair bit of it from him. I got a nice commission too. One of the friendliest and most humorous guys I had known. I have now met him a half dozen times at comic conventions and he is as wonderful an artist and person in the flesh. Dan DeCarlo art has its own gallery.
