Antennae Boy by Jesse Hamm, Simon Gough and Pat Brosseau

Antennae Boy, aka Khfeurb Chee Bez, has the unique ability to receive any audio waves from anywhere on the planet that he is currently on. This is impressive in itself, but Khfeurb can not only pick up audio broadcasts from the present, but also the past and the future! However, Khfeurb does not have complete control of his power, and the signals he receives often get mixed up, resulting in feedback. So, when he tried out for the Legion of Super-Heroes, Khfeurb was rejected. However, Khfeurb went on to join the Legion of Substitute Heroes, a team where having complete control of one's powers is not a requirement. I commissioned Jesse Hamm to draw Antennae Boy, and man did he deliver. Jesse's linework is just beautiful. I love the look on Khfeurb's face and of course those awesome ears! Then I passed this piece on to Simon Gough who added some gorgeous colors. After that, I turned it over to letterer extraordinaire Pat Brosseau who added some broadcasts from throughout DC history that Antennae Boy is listening to, and he did a fantastic job! Thanks so much to all three creators!
