Description

Cool commission of the original vintage Bob Kanesque Batman by Ernie Chan. First year Batman with the long bat-ears is my favorite rendition of the character. The pre-Robin Detective Comics covers are the finest of the entire Golden-Age in my opinion.

Ernie did this piece for me during the 1994 Wonder Con. in Oakland, CA. Piece measures approx. 11" x 14" on illustration paper.

This is a treasure. Ernie's distinctive style really shines through, and The Batman of 1939 lives again!
