Description

Farel has a very unique and distinctive style. It is somewhere between traditional comics and children's book illustration. He has a great way of combining multiple characters into panels and an interesting approach to themes. Some of the panels remind me of Where the Wild Things are and some remind me of Attack on Titan. I like the muted color palate and the atmosphere that is created. Most of the pieces in this gallery were picked up at the Emerald City Comic con in March 2015 but the commission and the Strange Tales page predate those being in my collection. Most of the It Will Hurt pieces are not in the first 2 issues of that book and so I suspect I will find them in the third when it gets printed.
