Description

The night before NYCC, a few comic art collectors usually get together for dinner. A typical group of about 10 to 15 people attend depending on who is in town for the show. Our good friend Dan always does a great job in organizing the gatherings and this year was no exception. A whopping 32+ persons attended the dinner!!!

The dinner was held at Smith & Wollensky steak house. Steakhouses are the few places in NYC where you can accommodate reservations with such a large group with short notice and a flexible headcount. Dan pulled it off and we got a private room with 4 tables of 10. Old friends and new friends. It was a wonderful evening.

This pic is only 1 of the tables and a few people were camera shy.

I thought for sure you would be there. Next time. Kasra ate well. As you can see, he was fit and trim. The only celery I saw was in the Bloody Marys. 😀

I've been to their upstairs dining room. Plenty of room so you and a few friends can devour some cows for sure.

Nelson - I couldn't make it to NYCC last year. I hope to make it to NY in the future so we can break bread again. Not going to have mutton again. lol. - Larry
