Descriptiona nice Vess Web of Spiderman cover. VIntage Vess! As an FYI, I bought this piece directly from Charles while he was living with Mike Kaluta in a tiny two room apartment in Manhattan. I came up to visit and was invited over. I had purchased a few things before from Michael, but had never met Charles before. I bought this and an Spectre cover that I later foolishly traded away. I love the grace of Spidey in this piece. It is a bit reminiscent of a Dean Cornwell painting I saw once of man hung from the yardarm with a flight of doves circling.Social/Sharing |

Wow, beautiful. This, along with nearly all of his Spider-Man covers, was done as "just an inventory piece". Absolutely beautiful, terrific acquisition.

I love Vess' Spidey covers from this period. I'd take one over a McFarlane!

Wow, yeah this is as amazing as I would have expected. Still one of my top 5 most wanted pieces of art. If you ever need some cash or trade, I'm always interested:)
