Description

Wally Wood Cannon Comic Strip #C66 Original Art (Wood and Richter, 1972).
From 1970-74 Wood wrote and drew Cannon, an adventure strip designed for a newspaper distributed exclusively to military bases. Created in ink and Zipatone over blue pencil, on two separate sheets of Bristol board, with a combined image area of 17.25" x 23.75". The logo is a printed paste-up.

This was the last time that Madame Toy would figure in the strip, but Elena was certainly not a bad replacement.

Provenance: Heritage Auctions.
