DescriptionI have been getting commissions from Chris for about 5 or 6 years with this being the 4th piece I have added to my collection (each one is posted in my gallery). Each piece has looked amazing and exceeded my expectations and each piece has been better than the previous. Chris simply outdoes himself each and every time with this being the best Hulk (in my very humble opinion) Chris has ever done. I have been on his list for 1-2 years for this latest piece. I was originally hoping to get a full colored marker piece but was thrilled when Chris decided to start doing paintings instead. I couldn't be happier with Chris' take on a Hulk transformation. Chris provided a great selection of ideas/roughs and we worked back and forth until he landed on the concept you see in the painting. I was completely BLOWN AWAY when I first saw this via email. I love the colors and I am very happy that my first painting is from Chris. It is very obvious that Chris really poured himself into this one and feels it is one of the best pieces he has ever done, which I wholeheartedly concur. Painted on a massive 14x18 masonite board, this will forever be a centerpiece in my collection. Thanks for everything you put into this one Chris, you have made this Hulk fan(atic) one happy collector! As always, comments are appreciated. I also know Chris would love to hear how his work is appreciated. An additional image is also attached to show all 4 commissions from Chris in a sequential perspective. If you would like to see larger versions of each, they are located in my gallery.I am also including links to my blog entry (which has a larger image) and Chris' DA site below where he has also posted the painting. http://thejadegiant.wordpress.com/2013/05/12/chris-stevens-hulk-transformation-painting-this-one-is-incredible/ http://www.deviantart.com/art/Hulk-transforms-oils-368921889 Social/Sharing |

Are you kidding me?!? Wow, this is a game changing piece! Chris killed this one, then threw down his mic (brushes) and walked off the stage!

We don't know each other but I just wanted to say how much I don't like you. This piece makes me angry. It is the best piece of Hulk art I have seen in years and Stevens did far to good a job for you on this. I mean come on.
