DescriptionFirst page in my gallery from Mr. Bachalo! Picked this up directly from the man recently. Was inquiring about a commission and also asked about original pages and found out he had this one in his personal collection. Took a little back and forth but he agreed to sell it to me and man was I stoked!I’ve always liked Iceman as a character and the way artists can put their unique spins on him. Particularly like Chris’s sort of jagged, craggy design and when reading through this issue I was like “Whoa!” Chris’s look in a nice splash with not only one Iceman but multiple! This is the first time Bobby Drake uses his powers this way. Couldn’t believe Chris actually had it – thanks again, Chris, for letting it go. Got a couple of other pieces to post from Chris soon – stay tuned! Social/Sharing |

Wow, not only is this a stunning splash, but you get Iceman using his cloning/multiplying powers for the first time! Historic and beautiful. And yeah, I love Bachalo's artistic style with regards to Iceman. He really played around with the character and came up with something fresh and new.

Thanks, man! Always been an Iceman fan since being a kid watching Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. And always cool how artists can really make their unique spins on the character visually and power-wise and Bachalo's the perfect example. Glad you like!

Ooh craggy Iceman would be a great bartender. Making me want a nice, cool drink!
