DescriptionPicked this up from David at the recent Wizard World Austin con. David’s been doing a primo job on his Ultimate Spider-Man run, and one of the main reasons I went to this show was to meet him and hopefully pick up a piece. Mission accomplished!David draws faces very well, and he also has a great knack for conveying emotion and mood in his work. We get some of that here in what I think is his best cover of the run. This features the intro of the Ultimate versions of Cloak and Dagger, 2 of the most visually vibrant characters and designs out there. Sweet rendering here by David…nice back to back poses, and look at that face on Dagger. David does the large majority of his work digitally so I’m glad to pick up such a nice example from the limited originals out there. Thanks for looking! Social/Sharing |

Dagger is great; but I really love Cloak's face, and the ends of his cloak trailing off to hash marks! Congrats on this wonderful cover and thanks for sharing!

An elegant and very touching image of Cloak & Dagger (literally! their hands are actually touching lol). And yeah, wow, Dagger's face is really beautiful. Well done!
