DescriptionAnother add from Mr. Stegman! I’ve got a number of published pieces and this is my second commission. I know Thor is one of Ryan's favorite characters to draw and is a character he'd like to work on some day. I also know that he hadn't done the Simonson armor look before so it was an easy decision as far as what to request!Great pose (I also included a sketch of a pose he decided not to go with on the back of the board) and I like that he's smiling. Awesome texturing and detail, particularly on the shiny parts of the costume. It's always cool to see Mjolnir at the forefront! Lastly, the outer space background with the planet below is a nice capper. Thor 378-380 are a few of my all time favorite comics and my constant flipping through them when I was a kid is why I've come to like this look so much. Thanks, Ryan, for a sweet rendition! 10/29/19 UPDATE - just found out my commission here is being used for a variant cover for the first issue of the new Thor series launching in January 2020! A first for me and a VERY cool surprise! Ryan's Venom collaborator Donny Cates will be writing so I guess it makes sense that Ryan was pegged for a variant. Stegman is a huge talent and destined for superstardom. Really love the inks on this

I usually don't like his commissions as I find them too unfinished resulting in a sketchy line/feeling. But this is spectacular. Congrats!

Congrats!Yeah, I know some of his sketches are indeed sketchier but I think many were meant to be less finished. Plus, I know he's getting better! Thanks, all, for the comments!

Yeah, it is, man - very cool! Had seen this happen before for other collectors so I was definitely stoked to get a turn :) Not hard to see why they picked it to get published, right?! Thanks for the recent comments!
