Description1 of 2 pages I picked up from Superior Spider-Man 1. Got this one because of the energy in the middle panel, particularly the movement lines on the boomerang and…I’ve always had a soft spot for the Shocker. Not a fave villain of mine by any means but I always thought his costume was unique, and I remember some nice images from books when I was younger of the artist rendering the sonic blasts coming from his gauntlets in a cool way. I do like Stegman’s version of him here!Social/Sharing |

Stegman's Shocker may just be the best Shocker I've ever seen. The line work captures the eye, as you say in your description. This is one of those pages you show someone when you try to convince them of how great a story-teller Stegman is. IF they need convincing that is.
