DescriptionAnother Sal Buscema Hulk page released into wild of CAF. I have more pages but for some reason like to keep them closer to the vest than pages from many other artists in my collection … but I do plan to post more going forward. So much to love about this page – 6 panels of the Hulk in action against the first full appearance of the mighty Israeli superheroine, SABRA! I don’t have a lot of examples of Sal’s page where he inked over his own pencils so this was nice to acquire.Next up on CAF ... Kropotkin the Great! Always looking for more Sal Buscema Hulk artwork. Great page!!! for these pages did Sal pencil these with blue pencil and then ink over?

Indeed he did. I should have made a comment about that - he changed Sabra's stance from pencils to inks in the first panel.

Some great SB Hulk adds of late! Sal's such a master at action scene storytelling! Big congrats, Dave!

Hulk will throw bus and girl across city! Or not...Lift with your knees, Hulk. Sal inking Sal is always so good. And Hulk in every panel battling? Yesyesyes! 256 had a lot of excellent pages, but this one might be my favorite. Congrats!

Thanks! You are right, this issue was packed with great images - both splashes and panel pages. I don't think I can pin down a favorite myself.

Bah, stinging needles can't stop the Hulk! Don't take my word for it ... check the next page of the comic for a great THROOM panel

The cover to this issue was a part of the great Hulk collection I once built, so any and all pages from this issue are even more special to me. While it's bittersweet for me to see this story broken up after surving intact for decades, breaking it up allows a lot more Hulk and Sal B. collectors to enjoy the originals,so that's a positive thing! This, by the way, is an absolutely spectacular page. Kudos for adding it to your collection, Dave!

I remember getting a thorn in my hand as a child and it stayed in there. Skin just healed around it. I bet if I get it out I will be able to lift a bus. I'll keep you updated.
