Description

Great looking DPS from the 2000 Hulk annual featuring the art of Mark Texeira. Amazing deep inks on this one really draws you in. A neat border comment from Mark to Richard about how he could ink the Hulk's raging scream. I love the emotion in this spread - Mark really captured the sorrow of the Hulk in this artwork. This is my 3rd acquisition in the last year showing Hulk's lighter side - here he is crying, the Carlo Pagulayan PH page has him cuddling with Caiera, and the Grummet page has him smiling with The Red She Hulk. This theme wasn't by design but I couldn't help but notice when I got to thinking about my more recent additions to the collection.

Big thanks to fellow CAFer Andrew for selling this one to me.

Wow Dave... this is what you were hinting at? Hulk in all his anguish and rage - awesome penciling and inks. This is a wonderful DPS! Congrats gammabro!

I had never seen a work of Mark Texeira Hulk .... it is amazing !!! This is one of the DSP most beautiful I've ever seen !! A beautiful piece of your beautiful collection .
