DescriptionChecking out the new Supes flick tomorrow with the fam so thought it would be an apt time to post this one! Picked up at OAX auction earlier this year.Just thought it looked great and kinda reminded me of Nick Pitarra. Got the essence of Supes, that hopeful nature, with him zooming over the Kansas background. Dug the horizonal orientation and how big Supes is on the board; I thought it was smaller when I was bidding and was pleasantly surprised to find it was done on 11x17. Uniquely stylized…and I LOVE me some zipatone. Got 2 tones here with the red parts of the costume darker than the blue parts. Lastly, Krypto being there in tow is a nice touch :) “Up, up, and away!” Social/Sharing |

Zip's sticky, pup buddy (Mud)

Plenty pickups in the auction (They all bid)
It was just this or Magneto (Let's get it)
He bidding, sent him on a mission (Mission)
All bidders itching cause of benjis (Itchin')
Ain't poured up dirty in a minute (Drank)
Don't worry about it, mind ya business

I'm in the South, as promised (Super speed)
Give a fuck about the Image (A what?)
When we see them boys, we scrimmage (Run!)
Big bid bussin' (Damn)

Actually reminds me of Tim Sale's work, but with sharper, pointed lines. Really nice!
