Description

My inspiration for this piece was Alex Ross's Giclee print of Superboy and the Legion. Luckily, I was able to buy one from one of my fellow collector's (Kirk !) friends (Chris) and at the time, Bing was available for a commission. I loved his Avengers commission and wanted something similar with Legionnaires. So here are my favorites-Superboy of course, Dawnstar and Timbwwolf, Saturn Girl and Lightning Lad, and Cosmic Boy and Shadow Lass....
I picked up both my Bing Cansino pieces plus the Legion Giclee in one fell swoop in a burger joint in Burbank with Kirk and Chris talking comics and art....Great Fun !!! Thanks Bing for such beautiful pencil work and to Kirk and Chris for a Great Afternoon for Food, Comics, and Art !!!
