DescriptionWalt regales a 20 month old Skeezix with stories about Phyllis Blossom in this sweet Gasoline Alley daily dated October 13, 1922. Phyllis inquired into the smallest details about Skeezix, setting the groundwork for an upcoming story featuring Madame Octave, Skeezix's birth mother. In this early daily, King's drawing is very sweet, with cute shots of Skeezix doing typical toddler things. The last panel though, with Skeezix back in the basket, really makes the strip for me.Social/Sharing |
