Description

This is page 10 from Super Friends #45, "The Man Who Collected Villains". Zazzala is the Queen Bee and ruler of an intergalactic bee hive from the planet Korll, where bee wings are shaped like those of earth birds. She is a villain who has bedeviled our heroes for some time and is now getting rescued by Wonder Woman and Godiva. The last panel sure looks like Don Heck work. This whole thing looks a bit serious and realistic for the Super Friends. This is the third to last issue (June 1981) and maybe they were trying something new to stave off cancellation.

I own the art of Wonder Woman and Godiva flying to the Queen Bee home under their powers and 4 pages of Robin and Rising Sun rescuing Hector Hammond....theyre amazing pieces.
