DescriptionThis is the second of three Kim Deitch pieces I bought at SDCC 2008. Apparently, it is a prelim for some kind of piece about a Mexican girl, note the Day of the Dead icon announcing (appropriately) a death and the ever-present sombrero. Deitch was one of the most accomplished underground comic artists of the 1960's and 1970's, boyfriend of artist and comics historian Trina Robbins with whom he had a child.Social/Sharing |
