Judy got to dining
Dining with a Dream
She was sharing Rosebud's outlook
On the death of Unity
Mikey drew the comic art
And Jones III was ink artist
They were all in love with drawings
Then would Gilbert be the smartest?
Judy died year ago
Like she kicked out her girlfriend
When she was the best in business
She was staring into space
They were all in love with Dreamin'
They were drinking from a small town
Words were pouring like an avalanche
Coming from the Neil Gaiman
I don't mind Sandman sometimes
The images it shows
I can taste Jed on my lips
And smell the old photo
Massacres and Unity
And softly rendered lines
You never Rose just how to look
Through Walker’s dream or lies

Great page but I was surprised by the lack of an APA lenght write up on it...clearly you don't love this one enought! I am going to have to read Sandman one day and see what all the hype was about.

Somehow, you always find the perfect art. Gorgeous page from Mike Dringenberg and Malcolm Jones. Love the simple activity that accompanies the woman's thoughts. The contrast between her thoughts and actions only seems to amplify the shock of the newspaper headline. Beautiful drawings by Dringenberg enhanced perfectly by Jones' inks. Fabulous Sandman page, congrats!
