Description

I purchased this watercolor from the artist while at a convention in New York City. This was back in 1991. Although she was entirely charming and approachable, I was nonetheless intimidated, so high was my regard for this artist and her incredible body of work. Since then I've strove to collect every example of Jones' work that I could get my hands on, studying it thoroughly, gleaning what I could and in doing so, have learned that I had every reason to be intimidated. I'm lucky that my relative ignorance back then allowed me the courage to meet the artist, and we are all of us fortunate that she continues to create such wonderful works of art...
