DescriptionFF 31 is such a great comic. The Mole Man sucks a whole block of downtown Manhattan miles underground just to kidnap Sue. The boys follow immediately, but Moley has still had time to embed the tunnel with visionary defensive systems. Then the FF have to fight the Avengers, then Reed invents a thing and they blow up the Mole Man and save Sue, but she gets injured and the only doctor who can save her is her long lost father. This page takes me to my happy place.Social/Sharing |

Whambo! Indeed! Such a great page, with those sweet clean Stone inks. Both artists at their very, very best. Congrats Aaron!

From the pacing, to the dialogue (not to mention a genuine "Flame on!"); to all the machinery, this page is a real standout. Also, I always thought Stone did a really good job taking care of the King's pencils.
