DescriptionHis last comic work, I think (?) from 1983. It's a large art page, which was easier on Jack's eyes at that point. Still plenty of power and invention. Something about the Dr. Fate figure in panel 1 evokes Kirby's Golden Age work to me.Social/Sharing |

These always exude so much power when the King worked big. The dense pencils have such energy to them that you wonder if Kirby just came up with the machine design or were they planned well in advance. It's kind of interesting to see where he left room for word balloons and in some panels there is no room left to spare.
