Description

This is the last of my set of 3 of my all time favorite Avengers covers done by the immensely talented Lucas Troya. This one was originally done by my all time favorite artist and all around great guy George Perez.

This homage features Thor and the Vision squaring off against the Superman…Count Nefaria. Great stuff. Like the other two this one is huge at 18x24 inches and the images explode off the painting in person. Beautiful work with super attention to detail.

i would not have guessed this one, mr l. wow, the colors really pop on this one. love the machinery and the shot of the vision!

Thanks Rob! So many great covers to choose from during our Golden Age but this cover just works for me to sum up one the best storylines from the period.

There are so many covers I would love to see get this treatment. Rob is right, the Vision is particulary spectacular!

The huge musclebound characters contrasted by the sleek and cold background machine pattern works very well in painted form!
