!! Just brilliant !! Love how the Joker's eyes are in shadow throughout the whole joke until the punchline, such emotive stuff :) Congrats on another beauty!

This page makes me want to take out my Killing Joke, which I haven't read in over a decade, and read it again! Awesome page. Congrats!

I (respectfully) disagree with you and Richard - I don't see anything that suggests Batman kills him on that last page. He clearly grabs him by the shoulders (not neck), and you can see in the last panel in which they are visible that the Joker is still standing on his feet. Also, the police are pulling up at that moment - are we to believe that Batman murders him in front of the cops? It's a leap I can't make. Incidentally, this is one of the most visually appealing KJ pages I've seen in any collection - the artwork is just stunning. Another home run for Mr. Mandel. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing.I find it far more disturbing to think that batman found this laughed uproariously with the Joker after his murderous rampage than strangling him. Realizing that he'll just get out again, spill more innocent blood. Over and over. That there was no hope of rehabilitation. No matter what happened, Batman's mind must have snapped

Stunning! We all dream about having that one iconic work of art from a memorable storyline or artist...I think this qualifies! Congrats, David on this monumental addition.

Brilliant page. Brian Bolland took a good yarn and turned it into an artistic masterpiece. If Watchmen is "the wall" of comic books, then this is Dark side of the moon.

I wanted to make a good comment but I couldn't think of anything that would do the page justice. Just fantastic.
