Description

I won this print a while back in an eBay auction. I love the Frankenstein story, and of course all the incredible detailed work Wrightson put into his vision of the story.

This print titled "...I shall be with you on your wedding night", was released by Glimmer Graphics in 1992. It is very large, with the image area coming in at roughly 38" x 25", and is in an overall condition of VF+.

I went down to my local Goodwill and was lucky enough to run into this even larger metal frame in a soft rose color. The frame and print were both reasonably priced, and since I have little chance of attaining an original Wrightson Frankenstein... I figure this is the next best image quality I'd be able to find...

The innumerable tiny details in a piece this size seem to leap from the print, and though I have several framed pieces, I'll be putthing this one somewhere I can admire readily, as it's really quite striking even from a distance...

Almost like being at the Drive-in!!! :)

That looks to be a great quality print there Vaughn - I skipped a breath for a sec when I thought you plunked down for a Frankenstein plate! The frame is lovely too! Nice goin!

Hey Jerry, yeah... I thought this was real cool and as quality and details go, as close as I'll get to an original, but I'm real happy with this for a chance to look so closely at all the little tidbits of imagination from Wrightson... I saw your skull in the lantern piece recently, and look forward to looking closer and commenting when time permits... It looked like an awesome piece!
