DescriptionThis is the definitive page in Wrightson’s FAA series.Besides the original appearance in FAA issue 2 page 13; this page was also utilized as Bernie Wrightson’s remembrance/tribute page in FAA 4, the face and lab equipment were used on the cover of the FAA 4 hardcover collection, and it was the only page from the FAA series consistently sold for years as a Giclee (usually hand signed) by Bernie at conventions he attended from 2012 until his passing. Add to this, Bernie’s “Wrightson” signature is now hand painted “in the art”. Bernie waited three days for the ink to dry before he would mail this page to me!!! This incredibly beautiful piece of Wrightson artwork is ready to be impressively framed, preserved, and displayed properly as a Wrightson art plate... Hands down, this Frankenstein page uniquely defines Bernie’s post Modern Prometheus days and (IMHO) is much more presentable than many of the lesser known original plates. I purchased this page directly from the Wrightson’s, personally requested his signature in the art, and I’m eternally grateful I was in the right place at the right time to add this exquisitely gorgeous “Grail” page into my collection. Astoundingly beautiful page! I'm happy that it all worked out for you and you were able to acquire the original! Congrats and thanks for sharing! Just one note though, Frankenstein is the name of the Dr., not the creature he created. Love that expression too, and all that beautiful work on the lab equipment! Enjoy it!

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Congrats!!!! A piece worthy of being called a "grail"! Since it's not on my wall, I'm glad it's on yours!

Congrats on getting a lab scene, Vaughn! Those pieces I always found most captivating from the original Wrightson plates. I would return to them again and again to admire the details, I suspect you'll be doing the same with this one.

Not sure who did more work, Dr. Frankenstein creating the Monster or Mr. Wrightson creating this scene!
