You are right. The art is still there, but the coloring and titling change the look of the published cover so much. The OA is very nice!

Stunning cover for Marvel Team-up by Pat Olliffe and Al Williamson. Love all the headshots of Marvel heroes behind the main characters--Spider-Man and Skin and Husk from Generation X. It's unfortunate the publisher deleted so many of them for the published cover, but they sure look great here. Congrats on the pick-up!
