DescriptionEach year I decide to say WTH and go after a piece that really means a great deal to me. in 2012 it was the Lee/Williams Justice League Splash. In 2012 it was the Byrne/Austin Uncanny X-Men Splash. This year, thanks to Mike D, it was a great Wolverine Limited Series panel page with a nice partial splash. This was THE Limited Series for me as a kid. I already have a nice page from the series but wanted something more. This is it!! A classic Wolverine pose with claws, Yukio and Ninjas. Along with my Uncanny X-Men Cockrum piece I just love the portrayal of Wolverine. "Easy or hard, it makes no difference, I'll keep coming, Doom....Until I get you." and now this about Wolverine's claws, "I know how to use em." Given the fact that many of the pages are colored it has taken a while to find one that I not only love but was available. Truly a bucket list page for me and thanks again for everyone who helped along the way. Social/Sharing |

Wolverine + Miller = iconic. This limited series truly fleshed out Wolverine as a full fledged heavy weight in the Marvel universe. As always, I bow to your exquisite taste in comic book art.

Killer! Frank Miller's bold visual storytelling style and Rubinstein's cleaner "marvel way" polish made this story very enjoyable for readers of all ages. Scene's like this really sparked the imagination, watching the characters do battle in a way television and movies could not emulate at the time. Congrats Ray

That first panel is pretty famous and that's real nifty panel pacing through the page horizontally.

Like George, I have to write - 'How did I miss this commenting on this page?' It is a great page. However, it is an even more outstanding page when you consider the Ninjas and the fight sequence.

That first panel is for sure iconic, but what I really love about this one, is that second panel. The tumble from the roof is so beautifully done, and really shows Miller's graphic prowess as a comic artist. What a gem.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an unbelievably awesome page! Wolverine looks so fierce in that first scene! And then to follow that with those cool silhouetted figures in the next panel--It's beyond cool! Miller nails it here!
