I had met him briefly a couple times before, but at the 2012 Rhode Island Comic Con...

It was a bit slow the first day in Artist's Alley. Walt had no line. Louise was there. I got to talk to them both for about 20 minutes. We talked about X-Factor, I kept telling Louise how much Jay and I loved the Power Pack... it was awesome. I had him sign my copy of Star*Reach #1 (which is now signed by Starlin, Chaykin, and Simonson!), and he was so generous and kind to do this sketch of Beast from his run on X-Factor. I had Louise sign it as well because I loved her scripting on it.
