DescriptionA fantastic cover from 1995 by the legendary George Perez. Though this is a cover for the Ultraverse comic UltraForce, the piece actually features more Marvel characters (Sersi and the Black Knight) than Ultraverse (Topaz). This is because Marvel had purchased the Ultraverse at this point and was using two of its own reality displaced characters to kind of reboot/retool the fledgling universe starting with the event titled "Black September".But I digress. What really appealed to me about this cover was that it features George Perez's stunning pencils. While books like UltraForce are obscure and mostly forgotten, Perez's work at this time was about as good as it gets in my opinion. Social/Sharing |

Perez was at his best on these covers! The detail is amazing and the images are stunning. Very underrated art from one of comics' greatest artists! Awesome pickup!

Spectacular cover! The fact that Sersi and the Black Knight are now part of the MCU is just icing on the cake. Perez at his best!
