Description

I talked with Russ about a more detailed pin-up. He loves to "re-draw" things, so I thought of the illustration he did for the Rocketeer comic book and sent Russ a copy, asking him to replace the Rocketeer with WW, as well as putting her on the plane instead of Bettie. He flipped the figure from the bottom to the top. The piece came rolled in a tube, and in color. I called Russ and said, "Russ, it's in color." "Yeah, do you like it?" "I thought I commissioned black-and-white." "Do YOU like it?" "Russ, I luv it." "Then there's no problem, right?" No problem, Russ. Beautiful work. I consider this the key piece of my collection...extremely large and attractive...when unrolled!
