DescriptionWas perusing through some portfolios last weekend at the LA Comic Art Show when this piece caught my eye. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the figure in the piece as I really love the Aliens/ Predator franchise. Assuming the piece was a convention sketch due to it’s smaller size I was almost about to pass on it due to my personal collecting rule of not buying commissions unless it was directly from the artist. I liked the piece so much though that I did some research there to see if Adam Hughes did any other Aliens/Predator related work. To my surprise I discovered that this art was indeed published; it was done for a trading card back in the 90’s. This particular image was used in the back of the card as seen on the additional images. Ive always admired Adam’s work but never really sought after a piece for my collection due to the subject matter of his work not being my usual type of collecting focus. This piece though I feel is a perfect amalgam of monster goodness and a badass babe that is signature to Adam’s work.Featured on CAF Update #220 Social/Sharing |

It's a fun little Aliens/Predator piece, Dave, and the Hughes babe is just a nice side bonus. I kind of like that the Predator looks more like a Zombie Predator, too!

A really nice piece - Adam's fantastic figure work coupled with the immersive background makes this very appealing.

What a cool Aliens/Predator trading card! Adam Hughes is always on point and this card is just killer! Great pick-up, congrats!
