DescriptionThe SDCC was/is always a fun event. What made it so much more compelling back in the early to late 1990s was that you never knew who would set up in Artist's Alley. When Romeo Tanghal showed up in 1997 with many of the interior pages from his share as the inker from the New Teen Titans, I just dropped my mouth. I ended up purchasing five (5) pages before Michael Lovitz got the intel that he was there. Lovitz bought much of what Romeo had brought to that SDCC, but it was after I had already picked out my pages from issue 1, issue 2, and issue 4. I held onto this page because it was the first crossover between JLA and the NTT.Social/Sharing |

Too bad you let go of the other ones in the ensuing years, Philip, but then again you probably turned them into vintage Byrne pages at the time so you're even better off now!

What a great page from an issue that I almost got a page from! Every page from this book has a great hold on my interest, but some dealer's holds are looser than a wizard's sleeve.

Your stories about how you tenaciously (and luckily?) scored your amazing comic art are almost as good as the art itself. The NTT 4 crossover was very special indeed, thanks for sharing!

What a page! What a story! Love reading how you acquired this. It really is a stunning page with so many characters. And such a dramatic conclusion to a terrific issue!
