Description

Jack Kirby is the prime reason that comics were such a joy for me in my youth. I learnt how to understand and draw figures, architecture and perspective from his work, without this ever diluting the joyous pleasure of his visual storytelling. The Fantastic Four carried the pre title of 'Worlds Greatest Comic Magazine' and for me this was spot on. Jack and Stan generated real 'magic' over the 102 and a bit issues.

Cheers Chris; it was one of the things that excited me about this page, the fact that graphically it was so complete with all members clearly involved as well as the FF's first villain to boot. Joe Sinnot's inking makes the both the visual quality and the storytelling of Kirby shine..very much a complete package within the one page.
