DescriptionShameless plug (not that this needs any promotional help from me)!This beautiful monstrosity just landed on my doorstep a short while ago. It’s the latest omnibus collection from Marvel entitled MARVEL UNIVERSE BY ARTHUR ADAMS. And it contains no less than 1200 pages of just about everything Arthur has done for Marvel during the 1980s and 1990s. All of his covers, stories, and pinups. Plus, original published and unpublished art, prelims, sketches, character designs and some never-before-seen illustrations. I flipped through it quickly when I first opened it and my head just about exploded. This is an absolutely beautiful, beautiful, book (and I’m not just saying that because I got a free copy and my pieces are featured throughout). The colors, the printing, and the paper, are all top notch. Extremely high production value, and about as comprehensive a collection of Arthur’s career during these decades as I’ve ever seen. My congratulations (and sincere thanks) to Special Projects Editor Cory Sedlmeier for this incredible accomplishment, as well as my gift copy. Cory was extremely pleasant and professional, and wonderful to work with. Christmas definitely came early for me. But do yourself a huge favor and pick up a copy of this magnificent collection. Nice to get featured in such a grand book. I've delt with Cory on some of the MASTERWORKS X-MEN books and he's great.

Cory is the best. My previous experience with Marvel left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. But when I started dealing with Cory on this book, he actually went above and beyond to make up for what happened with the previous Editor I had dealt with. So for all my fellow CAFmates, if Cory ever comes knocking on your gallery door about perhaps using some of your artwork for a project, I hope you will extend him every courtesy.

Just picked up mine yesterday ;)
(despite owning everything in floppies already, not to mention all the other reprints in omnibus format).

Oh wow. I knew this was in production as Cory arranged for me to have a piece scanned in hi res in London. I didn't realize that a version of that piece was going to be used as the cover. Here Santa has been swapped out for Arthur on my Holiday Special wrap around cover. Looking forward to getting my hands on a copy.

Congrats on making the dust jacket cover Jason! I think it's the perfect choice. And I love how Arthur updated it for this book. His self portraits are always the best. Hope you are doing well sir.
